Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is organising a symposium for the leather and apparel industry.
The event, which will take place at the company’s Cologne headquarters on 20-21 January 2020, will present the multifaceted aspects of leather as a material. With this information event, LANXESS aims to convey a deeper understanding of the production of this material – especially with regard to the use of chemicals.
The symposium, which is being held in this form for the fifth time, is aimed at brand manufacturers, representatives from the apparel industry and other industrial sectors. The agenda will include presentations on the latest legal requirements and sustainability in leather production.
