We're in the middle of day two here at Tanning Tech on one side of the thoroughfare, and Lineapelle on the other.

The vast halls that comprise this eminent combo fair in the calendar only takes up a handful of the overall space at Rho-Fiera, Milano, but the impact is felt worldwide. Even reports from day one, traditionally slow to get things going, were positive, lending validation to the fact that leather, from across the supply chain, is buoyant.

Giorgio Folicaldi from Teseo commented on a busy morning on day one, and confidence that the company, a leader in automated leather cutting machines, would continue ongoing success, especially in the automotive sector.

Across the same hall, it was impossible to miss the giant 20t liming drum set up on the Hueni stand sold at the last Tanning Tech to Karim Leather Ltd., one of the biggest high-end leather manufactuers in Bangladesh. It's a bold statement certainly drawing a lot of attention, and is a not-so-subtle indication that this is the place and time to seize new opportunites.
