The fifth edition of the Sustainable Leather Forum convened in the city of Paris on September 11, drawing together a diverse assembly of thought leaders and stakeholders from across the globe. This gathering served as a platform for illuminating keynote presentations and engaging roundtable discussions, all centered around the theme of sustainability within the expansive leather value chain.

Welcoming more than 400 esteemed delegates to this remarkable event, Frank Boehly, the President of France's Conseil National du Cuir, expressed his delight in hosting industry professionals in the heart of Paris once more. He emphasized the event's significance as a testament to the dedication of the leather sector to its environmental responsibilities.

Reflecting on the forum's inception in 2019, President Boehly acknowledged that the journey to its fifth edition was an unexpected achievement. He attributed this milestone to the remarkable "high levels of loyalty" exhibited by both companies and individuals towards the event. Their insatiable desire to continually expand their knowledge and remain at the forefront of sustainability advances has been instrumental in the forum's enduring success.

“We believe in what we are doing,” said President Boehly. “This is an industry that is heading in a very positive direction.”
