As the world’s leading footwear manufacturer and exporter, China’s annual output has exceeded 10 billion pairs in the past few years, accounting for 66% of global production. However, some specialists believe that quality, efficiency and upgrading should be the future direction for China shoes industry in view of the difficult economic and political environment, focusing on the development of the middle and high-end markets rather than low-end markets.
650 exhibitors are expected at the 8th edition of China Shoetec, in a total exhibiting area of 30,000 m2, up 20% on the same period of last year. In terms of layout, products will be grouped into different zones. ‘Shoe Zone’ will showcase fashionable middle-to-high end footwear; ‘Accessory, Leather and Material Zone’ will highlight the latest materials, leathers, and accessories, while ‘Machinery Zone’ will focus on cutting edge equipments and technologies for manufacturing, maintenance, and measuring.
China Shoetec is jointly organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Light Industrial Products and Arts-Crafts (CCCLA), Messe Dusseldorf China, Adsale Exhibition Services and Guangdong Modern Convention and Exhibition Management Co.
