Bangladesh’s international exhibition on leather industry machinery, components, chemicals and accessories began on Thursday. Its aim: to bring all the latest industry technologies under one roof for sector insiders.
Over 300 exhibitors from varies countries including China and Pakistan will be participating in the three-day fair to showcase machinery for tanning leather, manufacturing footwear and leather goods along with components, dyes and chemicals, accessories and allied products.
Sales manager of Chinese Lishui Jiaxin Leather Company Limited, Linda Lin said she came to Bangladesh to attend the fair for the first time.
"Our company sees Bangladesh as a big market, so we come here to get more orders. I think the Bengali customers have received us warmly and in turn we find them to be very nice," she said.
