Time to take effect – TFL Colour Trends Catalogue autumn-winter 2017–18

15 May 2016

TFL has released its new Colour Trends Catalogue for autumn-winter 2017–18.

In its new Colour Trends Catalogue for the season of autumn-winter 2017–18, TFL presents the upcoming themes for the leather garment, footwear and accessories, and, additionally, for the upholstery industry.

The colour trends are divided into ‘Wearing’ and ‘Living’, devoting a section to each within the publication. Wearing comprises inspirations and colour trends for garments, footwear and accessories. The Living section features all colours that will decorate the season’s interior designs.

Wearing

Leather clothing will follow the trend towards matt and rustic appearances, softened by geometric textures or prints of crocodiles and pythons. In sportswear, buffalo leather printed with Indian embroidery patterns are now trendy. The colours vary from intense brown, green and violet to red and pink.

Living

A comfortable and elegant new class can be seen in brightly coloured wet-white suede articles with water-repellent nubuck sofas, lightly buffed with contrasting patterns, and leather accessories with worn-effects, which have been highlighted with metallic pigments in brass and bronze shades. The colours range from pastel brown, yellow and orange to blue.

Pigments

In addition, TFL is introducing the RODA cor HTP pigments, a range of fine dispersed anionic pigments in aqueous phase with a high transparency. ?
