Dr Reuben Rose has been appointed general manager of livestock production innovation by Meat and Livestock Australia and will oversee MLA’s $30 million annual investment in on-farm research and development.
Dr Rose is currently dean of veterinary science at the university of Sydney and until 2002 was the equine R&D manager for the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation. He joins MLA on September 15.
