Lineapelle young designers

Ninety young designers from across Europe have taken part in the 31st edition of the Lineapelle young designers competition. The theme was to interpret fashion trends for spring/summer 2004. The creations were judged by a panel of designers and business people from the leather industry. The following people were awarded the 1st prizes. Women's footwear, Simona Zeola, aged 22 from Rome. Bags and leathergoods, Marianna Scaringi, aged 21, Rome. Leather garments, Elisabetta Rolla, aged 20, Padua. Leather furnishings and objects, Laura Fiaschi, aged 25, Viareggio. The next young designers competition will be held in October to coincide with the next edition of Lineapelle that is to take place from October 28-30.
