The main features of Carlessi's latest rotary spray cabinet 'Diamond' include: stainless steel AISI 304 construction; big doors positioned on the control side and on the suction side as well; easy access and use of the electric controls. The spray cabinet can be equipped with an internal water recycling system by electro-pump or with dry bottom (Diamond/S) or with static water (Diamond/F). Their anti-pollution group for spray fumes type 'DEP' also features the whole structure made of stainless steel AISI 304; a centrifugal fan made of painted steel for fume suction; impinging baffles; new internal design allowing a better fume abatement performance; and an automatic washing system of the plastic balls inside the anti-pollution group (upon request). Other features include low recycled water volume and a wide range of additional options including gun height adjustment system, stainless steel covering of the guns, economiser with scale system, Airless spray group, Airmix spray group, automatic pipe washing and pigment recovery system. The Diamond spray cabinet is available in the following versions: Diamond/R equipped with internal water recycling system by an electro- pump, Diamond/S with dry bottom and Diamond/F with static water. DEP1 is used on spray booths with 1800, 2200, 2600mm working widths, while the DEP2 is used on booths with 3000-3400mm working width. Radiation drying tunnel type TES/S (TES Super) is a new, revolutionary drying tunnel for finishing lines, working by providing radiant heat produced by electrical current. A set of electric panels (which are covered by international patent) - thanks to a special construction and to appropriate materials - can radiate in a single direction, concentrating their action only on the leather, thus minimising heat loss and, therefore, power consumption. Internal parts of the tunnel are dust free because there are no air recirculation fans (the tunnel comes with exhaust fans to extract humid air). Even the lightest skins can lay steadily on the conveyor because there is no ventilation. The model offers easy assembly, as there is no steam or other thermal fluid or respective boilers, only electrical fittings are required. The machine has complete operating independence from the rest of the tannery. Wide temperature regulation is available for any single zone of the tunnel, with the selection of the heating curve from feed-in to feed-out. Quick start running (10 minutes maximum) allows the whole plant to be switched off for short breaks. It offers improvements in leather quality which keeps a softer feel because the heat is concentrated solely on the pigmented surface. Cleaning and maintenance of the plant is minimised because of the absence of air filters. The tunnel is suitable for use both after the spray booth and roller coating machines. It is available in the following standard working widths: 1800, 2200, 2600, 3000, 3400mm.
