Kyrgyzstan first-half production

Kyrgyzstan's National Statistics Committee reports that the production of leather and leather products in Kyrgyzstan in the first half of this year was 22.4% lower than in the same period in 2002, according to the Interfax news agency. Overall industrial output in Kyrgyzstan during the January to June period was 2.5% higher year-on-year. The production of chrome tanned leather fell by 14.8% year-on-year, while production of leather haberdashery was 48% lower.
