26 June 2012

With 403 exhibitors currently registered for the forthcoming edition from September 19-21 (+13% compared with September 2011), Le Cuir A Paris is in full swing. The show, which welcomes the best leather and exotic leather tanneries, but also specialists in fur, textiles for accessories and components, has enjoyed uninterrupted growth while maintaining its direction in terms of positioning.

Italian exhibitors are once again increasing their participation, both in terms of numbers (+28% compared with September 2011) and surface area (+40% against September 2011) with the return or the arrival of essential companies for buyers of leather such as Gruppo Perreti, Conceria Stefania, Conceria Meridiana, Conceria Victoria, and Robotti Pelli.

The other leading countries producing a high quality and creative range of leathers, namely France (up 6% against 2011), Spain (up 18 against 2011) and Turkey (+4%) are also favouring this first event of the season that is perfectly timed with the collection schedule. Export markets are not forgotten as Colombia makes its first appearance at the show with the exotic leather companies TopCroc and Ecocaïman.
