Ironing felt from Huyck

15 December 2003

Austrian textile manufacturer, Huyck, exhibited at Tanning Tech for the first time in October. The company have been involved in the leather sector for some time and have developed a range of felts for tannery machinery. They used the exhibition to launch their new MU368A8 felt to be used on ironing and embossing machines. The new felt can be used to make any type of leather and is resistant to the extreme heat and pressures associated with ironing and embossing machines. Final trials of the new felt were completed at the beginning of November on a full-scale tannery machine. MU368A8 is made from a mixture of wool and man-made fibres.
