Irish trade with non-EU countries

Ireland's Central Statistical Office reports that Ireland imported leather and leather products worth euro1.5 million from non-EU states in the first five months of this year, as compared with euro900,000 in the same period in 2003. Irish exports of the same types of commodities to non-EU states in the same period were worth euro4.4 million,against euro7.2 million in the January to May period last year.
