Inspiring times – TFL trends

7 December 2015

As the seasons slip from one to another, trends can wax and wane with different moods and inspirations taking the essence of design in inspired new directions. With its finger firmly on the pulse of new upcoming trends, TFL is looking to the future with the visions for spring-summer 2017, and its ‘Wearing’ and ‘Living’ sections showcasing the different areas of vibrant life and style.

TFL has released its new colour trends for the spring-summer season 2017. In the catalogue, TFL presents the colour trends for the leather garment, footwear, accessory and, additionally, the upholstery industry.

It has divided the colour trends into 'Wearing' and 'Living', devoting a section to each within the publication. Wearing comprises inspirations and colour trends for garments, footwear and accessories. The Living section features all colours that will decorate the season's interior design.

Deep inside innovation and design

In Wearing, we meet bovine and nubuck leathers in brilliant colours thanks to wet-white tanning, as well as printed matt water top coat on lambskins and calfskins. The colours vary from intense red and pink to yellow, orange and green in various shadings.

Live with it

In Living, the faded and washed-out aspects of a nubuck bovine leather and nappalan finishing favour using soft polyurethanes in iridescent colours and are protected by TFL anti-soiling solutions. The colours range from violet and green tones to intense red and orange.

In addition, TFL is introducing the RODA cor HTP pigments, a range of fine dispersed anionic pigments in aqueous phase with a high transparency.
