Hunger strike

Workers at the bankrupt Inkaras footwear producer in Kaunas started a hunger strike in mid-November in protest at the alleged failure of the company to pay them wages. Business analysts in Vilnius said that Inkaras has not adhered to a number of labour laws associated with its bankruptcy proceedings.
