Ecology has become an important aspect of our lives and the demand for ecological products has increased considerably. With these customer requirements in mind, TFL conceived a system for the leather sector taking account of these trends. The TFL White Line system guarantees skin friendly leather and ensures that the articles meet the rigid standards for harmful substances. Goods made of White Line leather are dermatologically tested and environmentally compatible. They also comply with the SG-label, certified by the 'TÜV Produkt und Umwelt GmbH'. Consumer awareness regarding point of origin and means of production is increasing continuously. Well-known companies such as H&M are amongst the pioneers in offering certified environmentally compatible products. This year, the company has introduced the first baby clothing line which comprises a leather jacket made with the TFL White Line system. This is ensured by the White Line label on the jacket. For H&M it is very important to be able to offer skin friendly articles in order to fulfil their customer's requirements: 'We believe that environmental friendliness and production with harmless substances will become as important consumer requirements as design or style already are. Of course, we care about our customer's desires and that is one reason why we included clothes made with White Line in our assortment. Skin friendliness is a major aspect in the clothing business', said Ulrika Persson, buyer for H&M.
