First female president elected
23 May 2009The first female president of the UK Leather & Hide Trades' Benevolent Institution has been elected since it was first founded in 1860. Jill Williams, finance director, Pittards was officially elected at the L&HTBI's AGM and annual lunch held at the Leathersellers' Compamy in London, May 21.
She succeeds Paul Patrick, director, Patrick Leather. The L&HTBI raises funds to support former leather industry workers and their families. For more information or to make a donation please visit www.lhtbi.org.uk
