Dr Eberle are service focused23 March 2006
Dr Eberle Clever Chemistry GmbH, serving the leather industries since 1875, are poised for further development and an increased profile. Production is kept under constant supervision through integrated control systems. In an effort to fulfill their commitment to customer service, the company have incorporated the latest technologies into their new product range which provides options for use throughout the leathermaking process. Dr Eberle's latest innovations include: Licrol LEA is a combination of lecithin with synthetic softeners and emuslifiers for all kinds of soft and fluffy leathers with a firm grain. It is particularly recommended for use on nappas, gloving and upholstery leathers. The resulting leathers are of excellent softness with a silky touch, good lightfastness and heat resistance. In addition it provides good buffing properties and when used in neutralisation of shoe upper, it improves the tear-strength. Licrol PE is a phosphor ester containing multipurpose fatliquor for all kinds of soft and full leathers. It gives soft and full leathers with a fine grain, even and deep penetration, as well as good lightfastness and heat resistance. Ebenin HE is a hydrophobing fatliquor for softies and garment leathers. It provides a very good hydrophobing effect, excellent lightfastness and heat resistance, and gives a full handle. Ebenin HL is a hydrophobing fatliquor with very good softening properties for shoe uppers. Like Ebenin HE, it provides a very good hydrophobing effect, excellent lightfastness, heat resistance and gives a full handle with waxy feel. Ebenin HLS is a hydrophobing fatliquor for soft shoe upper leathers. It provides good softness and lightfastness, and a full handle with a waxy touch. Ebenin SME is a water repellent agent which can be used together with the hydrophobing fatliquors to achieve each required grade of hydrophobing. New special products: Ebrolin BCA is a basifying and chrome exhausting agent. Because of its organic complex structure it is one of the strongest masking agents available in the market, with stablilising and antiflocculation effects on the chrome, even under extreme pH or dilution conditions. It allows the tanner to reduce the chrome rate by 30-40%, thus reducing chrome in the wastewater while achieving a good quality leather. It provides good belly fullness, fine grain, open necks, and light and even colour all over. Ebrolin VE is a foamless dispersing and levelling agent for suedes. It promotes the uniform uptake of dyestuffs with good penetration and levelling properties. The colour brilliance on the suede is improved compared with usual dyeing auxiliaries. Ebrolin NA is a low-foam dispersing and levelling agent for full grain leathers. It promotes uniform uptake of dyestuffs with good penetration and levelling properties. Dr Eberle are a service focused company, and they believe that with technical advice and support from the company's experts, tanners can successfully implement the know-how to upgrade their processes. In attendance at APLF 2006 will be Dr Reinhard Eberle, president, Waldemar Schaupp, sales director, CR Janakiram, technical advisor.
