Dr Eberle are poised for growth

Dr Eberle Clever Chemistry GmbH, serving the leather industries since 1875, are poised for development and a higher growth profile. Production is kept under constant supervision through integrated control systems. In an effort to fulfill their commitment, Dr Eberle have implemented up-to date technologies with great ideas. The company's products are used in all processes from raw to crust. Latest developments include: Licrol CU is a blend of sulfited natural and synthetic oils which is recommended for high quality car upholstery where strict specifications such as heat, light, gravimetric fogging, fastness and tear strength have to be achieved. Licrol PP is a blend of synthetic oils and special emulsifiers for use on all kinds of soft and fluffy leathers, as well as fur. It may be used in pickling, tanning, retanning and in all fatliquoring mixtures. It can also be used for crust or dried wet-blue and has outstanding dyeing and levelling properties. Licrol SF is a blend of synthetic oils and special emulsifiers, for all kinds of soft and fluffy leathers and is particularly suitable for automotive for high specifications. It offers deep and even penetration, as well as good lightfastness and heat resistance. Ebenin HE is a hydrophobing fatliquor for softies and garment leathers. It provides a very good hydrophobing effect, excellent lightfastness and heat resistance, and gives a full handle. Ebenin HL is a hydrophobing fatliquor with very good softening properties for shoe uppers. It provides a very good hydrophobing effect, excellent lightfastness, heat resistance and gives a full handle with a waxy feel. Ebenin SME is a water repellant agent for top-hydrophobing, which can be used together with hydrophobing fatliquors to achieve the required grade of hydrophobing. New special products from Dr Eberle include: Ebotan PCC, PCK and PCW are blends of polypeptides and aromatic sulfonates. Both are biodegradable and free of solvents. Ebotan PCC is an excellent eco-friendly additive in wet white and low-Cr tanning, retanning with acrylic syntans to give full and round leather. It increases thermal stability and produces soft and full leathers with smooth handle. Ebotan PCK is an excellent eco friendly additive for chrome and vegetable tanned leathers. It gives excellent filling of the loose structure without reducing the resistance of the fibres. The product gives soft and full leathers with a smooth handle. Used in the neutralisation, it gives consistent pH and uniform softness. Ebotan PCW is an excellent eco friendly additive in the wet white and low-Cr tanning, retanning with acrylic syntans to give full and round leather. It increases the thermal stability and produces soft and full leathers with a smooth handle. It results in a compact nap in split suedes. In fatliquoring, the product disperses the fat while simultaneously filling the loose areas. It improves the break and gives a round handle. After many years of tradition in the leather business, Dr Eberle can present themselves today as a service company.
