Dobrich privatisation falls through

19 August 2001

Plans to privatise the shoe factory Dobrich are expected to be cancelled. The buyout syndicate, namely the Management-Employee Buyout Company, had only paid 10% of the take-over price and has since returned control of the contract to the National Council of Post-privatisation to find a new investor.
