A series of twenty lectures on fashion are currently being held until April 22, 2005 at the Carrousel du Louvre. 'A Paris, la Mode et les Métiers' will include, for the leather industry: January 21, 2005: 'From the cobbler to the sneaker manufacturer', by Florence Muller, a fashion historian; January 28, 2005: 'The Art of Glove Making', by François Leyge, a heritage curator, Millau Museum. This is an initiative of the Paris Educational Programme and is being held at the Amphitheatre Rohan, 99 Rue de Rivoli, Paris 1er. Le Cas du Sac' displays bags in all shapes and sizes at the Fashion and Textile Museum, on the initiative of Hermes, until February 20, 2005. Musée de la Mode et du Textile, 107 rue de Rivoli, Paris 1er.
