CLIA financial support for leather technicians

To encourage technicians in leather sector to become more involve in international activities China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) have decided to allocate additional funds to encourage Chinese leather technicians to attend international academic conferences and events. This is in order to make them better informed with all the latest research in the international leather industry and to show the latest advances in leather science.


This marks another significant move taken by the CLIA to implement a general strategy of developing leather through science and technology. 

Further more the CLIA will also allocate additional funds to professors or scholars, who take part in conferences related to industrial standards. 

The CLIA will also increase the amount given for scholarships to college students and students in technical schools. The aim is to encourage more talented students to work for the leather industry.
