Chinese leather industry host annual conference

The was meeting held in Dongguang this week and was attended by nearly 100 delegates from the Taiwanese and mainland China leather sectors. Su Chaoying the CLIA Chairman and Shi Rongchuan Chairman of the Mainland China and Taiwan Leather Association and Bai Zhixiang, the President of the Taiwan Leather Association presented to delegates at the meeting.


CLIA Chairman of Su Chaoying gave an analysis of the current scenario for the China leather industry and the developing trends. The latest technologies for leather making and effluent treatment were also reported at the meeting, which included scholars and professors from leather research institutes and universities.

The meeting re-elected Shi Rongchuan as Chairman for Mainland China and Taiwan Leather Association, Qiu Guangting takes the position of Director General and Wang Ruicong, Li Dingfang and Li Zhenghong were appointed as Vice-Chairman of the association.
