Cheerful colours for a beautiful season

25 April 2004

Although the summer of 2004 hasn't begun, we are already preoccupied with how shoe fashions will look in 2005. According to BASF, the spring/summer season, which is just around the corner, will be highlighted by fresh and cheerful colours for the ladies. Kids, too, will have a rich palette of hues to choose from. Deep, rich shades, and imaginative flower and kite patterns will dominate youth footwear. Sport prima ballerinas and exciting, bright colours will experience a Renaissance, while men will continue to favour the more conservative beige, brown and grey tones. The question is: Will all this be a fashion fad, or will the trend-setting chic carry over into the next year? BASF cannot predict what shoes will be like in the spring/summer season of 2005; but as a special service, once again they are providing customers with a colour trend forecast. And they are convinced that others will quickly adopt these fashionable colours. Take individuals who produce purses, clothes and furniture, for example. BASF say the new addition of their colour trends: 'Offers a lot of inspiration for leather creations. So remember: call on us whenever seeking ideal colours for your products. As a competent partner, we look forward to assisting you in any way we can.'
