Bosnia and Herzegovina production in January

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federal Statistics Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Bosnia and Herzegovina in January was 19.9% lower compared with December and 14.4% lower than in January 2005. In comparison, the monthly decrease in industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in January was 11.2%, and the annual increase, 16.1%. 115,576 cattle of a total of 16,262 tonnes were slaughtered in abattoirs in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005, compared with 107,579 cattle of a total weight of 13,997 tonnes slaughtered in 2004.
