2004 Wenzhou Int'l Leather Fair

From September 7-9, 2004, the 9th Int'l Leather Exhibition will be held in Wenzhou Int'l Convention & Exhibition, China. The exhibition is among the four most famous leather fairs in Asia. This year, Wenzhou Int'l Leather Exhibition will enter into a new age. Resonding to industry demands, the exhibition will highlight not only products relating to shoe manufacture, but also other relevant industries such as leathergoods, hand bags, luggage, garments and furniture. Pavilions at the fair include the Wenzhou synthetics chamber of commerce, with over 80 booths; the Ouhai leather chamber of commerce, with 50 booths; the Italian Toscania leather association; and the Mexican COFOCE association. The fair places a strong emphasis on technical innovation. The exhibition attracts a large number of shoe machinery manufacturers, including the Taiwanese machinery association who have reserved over 100 booths, the Wenzhou commercial chamber of shoe machinery manufacturers have booked over 130 booths, and the Ruian commercial chamber of shoe machinery manufacturers will incorporate almost 30 booths. The number of exhibitors of shoe materials and accessories is set to increase 30% this year compared with the last edition with more than 150 stands already reserved. There will be over 500 companies from over 20 countries, such as Italy, Mexico, Germany, USA, Canada, Russia, France, Brazil, Spain, South Korea, Japan, India, Türkiye, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, together with the companies from the main shoe manufacturing bases in mainland China, such as Wenzhou, Fujian, Guangzhou, Chengdou, Jiangxi, Shangdong, Shanghai, Hebei and so on. Moreover, the area of this year's fair will reach 22,000 sq m.
