17th FLAQTIC Congress call for papers

The XVII Latin American Congress of Leather Technicians and Chemists will be held from October 8-10, 2008 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event will take place at the Rio Othon Palace Hotel and incorporate the 18th meeting of ABQTIC the Brazilian leather chemists association. ABQTIC has a 35 year history and the largest membership of any national leather chemists association. Call for papers Abstracts should be sent to abqtic@abqtic.com.br by November 30, 2007, marked 'c/o the XVII FLAQTIC Congress Scientific and Technical Committee.' Presentations must meet high standards of scientific or technological content as well as a degree of scientific novelty. The results of work to be reported must not be published before the congress. Presentations that advertise or deal solely with the use of proprietary products are unacceptable.
