The transaction will be effective from March 31st, 2009 and includes all Münzing leather and fur chemicals as well as customer relationships. Münzing are located in Heilbronn, Germany.
According to a statement from Zschimmer & Schwarz the acquisition forms part of the company’s growth strategy and extends their leather chemical product portfolio, particularly for shoe upper leather products.
Zschimmer & Schwarz are a family owned business founded in 1894 in Lahnstein, near Koblenz, Germany. They have active markets throughout the world including, Italy, China, Brazil and Argentina.
