The milling drum exhibited by AMC was entirely made in stainless steel. The Italian company have a long experience in the manufacturing of stainless steel drums with combined dust recovery systems. Through a fine filtering device, buffing dust is collected in a separate tank, which reduces the dust in the air and makes the working conditions better. It also imp- roves the finished product.
The drum has temperature and humidity regulators and it is made with an automatic door, which ensures the safety of the workers as well as ease of unloading.
An automatic stacker located under the drum means that the milled leather can be unloaded without the need for manual handling. Upholstery leathers are especially suited for processing in this drum, which is assembled by AMC at the customer’s tannery. The drum is available in two sizes, 2.5 x 1.6 m or 3.0 x 2.0 m.
