Crispin Dynamics, the CAD/CAM division of Texan International, have announced the launch of their new range of fully integrated shoemaking software products named CAD Suite. The new range has been designed to offer ‘a total solution for shoemakers’ and comprises four separate products for the shoemaking product development process. The Suite is targeted for use on a PC platform and is based on Windows 2000 and XP operating systems. The four new products are available individually or in combination to suit customer requirements and each product will feature database connectivity.
The four major elements of CAD Suite are: LastMaker, for last creation, modification and grading; ‘ShoeDesign’ for creating the design on the last; ‘Engineer’ for pattern engineering; and grading and ‘ShoeCost’ for total shoe costing.
