Since May 1, the EU banned the biocide DMF used both to preserve and prevent mould growth on leathers and fabrics, which was included in silica gel bags to preserve furniture during shipping and packaging.
Natuzzi Group would like to inform and reassure consumers that, during the manufacturing and treatment of its leathers, the company has never used DMF, nor silica gel bags for the shipping process for any of its brands. The chemical substances used for the manufacture and protection of the leathers complies with the most restrictive legislation in the world.
