The fair’s last creation, Espacio Glam was launched in September 2009, and exhibitor numbers grew by 250% by the time of the March 2010 edition. According to the fair’s marketing manager, Félix Pérez Fajardo; ‘the creation of these two areas enables us to pursue a two-fold objective. On the one hand, we are able to offer a new setting for companies from the sectors involved and, on the other, set up areas of highly attractive design within the fair itself that will catch the eye of footwear buyers.’ ‘These stands’, Pérez-Fajardo continues ‘are proposed as an alternative to the free-design stands, given that they have a highly competitive price and makes it possible for exhibitors to lower their participation costs, the largest expense being that which relates to the assembly of their own stands.’

The twenty-sixth edition of Modacalzado and Iberpiel will take place between September 24-26 (Friday to Sunday) and will occupy halls 8 and 10 of the Feria de Madrid.
