At a meeting of the African Federation of Leather and Allied Industries (AFLAI) in Tripoli, Libya, late last year, it was unanimously decided to hold the next Meet in Africa at the Palais du Khram in Tunis from September 23 – 30, 2002. This will be the second consecutive time that the fair will be staged in the Maghreb region of Africa.
