Poland’s Central Statistics Office reports that the average gross monthly wage in the Polish leather industry in the first ten months of this year was US$628, an increase of 9.5% compared with the same period in 2007.
Serbia’s Statistical Office reports that the average monthly wage in Serbia’s leather industry in the first nine months of this year was US$294, 20.3% higher than in the same period in 2007. In comparison, the average monthly wage in Serbia in the January to October period this year was US$637.
Ukraine’s State Statistics Committee reports that the average monthly wage in Ukraine’s leather industry in the first ten months of this year was US$152, compared with US$123 in the same period in 2007. In comparison, the average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine in the January to October period this year was US$301.
