NCT Leather Limited, part of the Scottish Tanning Industries Group, have recently been successful in gaining certification to the BSI Health & Safety Management Standard BSI OHSAS 18001.
This achievement gives NCT Leather certification against all three major standards for quality, environmental and health and safety management systems. The company had previously been certified for the environmental management standard BS EN ISO 14001 and the quality assurance standard BS EN ISO 9002 for a number of years.
William Lindsay, who is responsible for the implementation and operation of these systems, plans to operate them as one fully integrated system.
