The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), China International Footwear Fair (CIFF) and Moda Shanghai events will be held September 5 – 7, 2006 in Shanghai.

90% of exhibitors at the last edition have already re-booked their places at ACLE 2006. (Last year 1,088 exhibitors attracted 14,382 buyers.) The organisers state that since its inception in 1998, ACLE has enjoyed a high level of international participation. ACLE remains the prime exhibition at which top-level Chinese buyers can meet with the leading leather industry companies from all over the world.

18 international pavilions already confirmed, including Wakayama Tanners’ Association from Japan who will have their own pavilion for the first time. Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkiye will also have pavilions.

As in previous years ACLE will run concurrently with CIFF and Moda Shanghai. However, this year, CIFF and Moda Shanghai will have their own entrance, their own opening ceremony, and will be separate and distinct events in recognition of their growth and importance.

CIFF and Moda Shanghai serve as a platform for the top shoe, leathergoods and garment manufacturers to display their latest collections. Alongside international exhibitors, several of China’s best known shoe and leathergoods provinces will be represented. These include Xinji, Haining, Tongxiang and Sichuan.

The 25th International Shoe Industry Conference, hosted for the first time by China, and will be held concurrently with CIFF at the same venue.

ACLE, CIFF and Moda Shanghai are organised jointly by Asia Pacific Leather Fair Ltd and the China Leather Industry Association.
