Hong Kong is moving into top gear following the lifting of the WHO travel advisory. The Hong Kong government is working closely with overseas trade offices, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, airlines and hotels to promote Hong Kong as the region’s business hub.
Coinciding with these exciting promotions will be Asia Pacific Leather Fair 2003 October Show to be held from 6 to 8 October, 2003 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Exhibitors from all over the world will show collections of the newest handbags, footwear, travel goods, fashion accessories, leather garments and sportswear. Suppliers of raw materials and components will also take the chance to meet with manufacturers at this event.
The October Show offers to international buyers the first sourcing opportunity in the second semester of 2003 in the Asia Pacific region. Some buyers have been trying to order basic stock lines over the internet, but most believe that this method cannot replace face-to-face negotiations with suppliers and seeing first-hand samples, materials and designs.
