This prestigious accolade applauds Arlei's successful implementation and certification of an energy management system compliant with the ISO 50001 standard.
The distinguished award was presented to Arlei's Head of Sustainability in acknowledgment of the company's outstanding commitment to energy efficiency. Arlei has reported remarkable energy savings ranging from 5% to 15%, all achieved without the necessity of substantial capital investments.
Arlei, a thriving enterprise employing over 1,300 individuals, operates at a formidable scale, processing upwards of 10,000 hides daily. Remarkably, it holds the distinction of being Argentina's largest exporter of finished leather, dispatching the majority of its products to various global destinations, including Europe, Asia, Australia, the United States, and Mexico.
