The operational revenue of China’s leather, fur, feather and its products, and footwear firms above the authorized size was 215.85 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2023, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. This is a 16.3% reduction year on year.
The sector had a total profit of 8.96 billion yuan in the quarter, a 25.7% decline year on year.
