In the breakdown of the country’s leather products, exports of leather garments increased by 10.42%, rising from $126m last year to $139m this year. Leather glove exports also rose by 11.81% to $119.5m from $106m. Likewise, the exports of all other leather goods also increased by 10.22% during the period under review as these went up from $7.2m last year to $7.9m during the current fiscal year.
Meanwhile, year-on-year basis, the leather goods’ exports witnessed an increase of 21.13 percent during the month of November 2021, as compared to the same month of last year.
