Coach’s tradition in luxury leather is steeped in the American psyche — especially in the American pastime. Its original leathers took inspiration from baseball gloves and their particualr properties and qualities.
As the baseball season gets into full swing, Coach has created some inspired items for its baseball-themed collection.
The grand slam collection is a nod to the history of the game and is composed of a varsity jacket, bags, gloves, a baseball, a bat, and other major-league accessories. Both bat and glove were made in collaboration with baseball equipment specialists Insignia Athletics. While the goods don’t come cheap, it’s a great way to show allegiance to good quality.
