The XV Congress of the Latin-American Federation of Leather Chemists and Technicians (FLAQTIC) will take place from October 10-13, 2001, in Salvador, Bahia.
The event is being organised by the Brazilian Association of Leather Chemists and Technicians and more than five hundred chemists and technicians from Germany, Spain, Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, Canada, the United States and Italy have confirmed their participation.
Besides the presentation of technical papers, Rogério Caldas, motivational marketing consultant, known as one of the best specialists in his area in Brazil, will share some of his knowledge of the globalised economy. He proposes to ‘flood everybody’s brain with endorphins, dopamine, serotonin and other neurotransmitters.’ His communication style is at the same time aggressive and inspiring. He uses interaction with the audience as a learning weapon provoking behavioural changes and causing self-esteem to rise.
