Michael Duck, senior vice president of CMP Asia, has been selected by UFI (Union des Foires Internationales, the worldwide association for the exhibition industry) as one of the eleven pioneering persons of China’s exhibition industry in 2002.

From the leather industry perspective, Duck is best known for his role in overseeing the Asia Pacific Leather Fair, the world’s most international leather trade fair, held biannually in Hong Kong, and the All China Leather Exhibition, Shanghai.

In addition to his work with CMP Asia, Duck is also chairman of the Asia/Australasia/Middle East Chapter and member of the steering committee of UFI.

‘The Public Figures in China’s Exhibition Industry in 2002’ was co-organised by International Business Daily (published by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation), China Daily (published by News Center of The State Council) and China International Convention and Exhibition Network (ratified by the Ministry of Science and Technology).
