Slovakia’s Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in the Slovak Republic in 2002 was 15.1% higher than in the previous year.
Production in December 2002 was 30.4% year-on-year. In comparison, the annual increases in industrial output in the Slovak Republic in 2002 and in December 2002 were 6.5% and 10.9% respectively.
