Macao’s Statistics and Census Service reports that Macao imported 589,124 kilos of hides, skins and leather, worth MOP35.7 million (US$4.46 million) in 2002, compared with 585,574 kilos worth MOP41.4 million (US$5.18 million) the previous year.
Macao’s exports of the same types of commodities in 2002 totalled 602,632 kilos worth MOP28.6 million (US$3.58 million), compared with 533,163 kilos worth MOP27.6 million (US$3.45 million) in 2001.
