Yugoslavia’s Federal Statistics Office (FSO) reports that Yugoslavia exported 7,165 tons of raw hides and skins worth US$10 million in 2002, compared with 6,122 tons worth US$8 million in 2001. Exports of tanned bovine leather in 2002 totalled 817 tons worth US$3 million, against 865 tons worth US$4 million the previous year.

Sales of livestock in Yugoslavia in the first eleven months of last year were worth US$125 million, compared with US$120 million in the same period in 2001.
