The Tabriz Leather Institute was inaugurated in Tabriz in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province on July 20, according to the IRNA news agency. The Institute will train personnel in all aspects of the leather industry and aim to improve the standard of leather and leather products produced in Iran. East Azerbaijan province is one of the centres of Iranian leather production, accounting for 30% of national leather output.
