In a strategic move to assist the international leather industry in the Guangdong province, Lineapelle, the Asia Pacific Leather Fair Ltd (APLF) and the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) together with the Guangzhou Municipal Government and other important organizations are cooperating to launch the new Lineapelle Asia show to be held from November 27-29, 2003, in Guangzhou, China, at the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Salvatore Mercogliano, managing director of Lineapelle, said: ‘I am delighted that we are working together with our friends at APLF Ltd which has the necessary infrastructure to ensure that this show is a success, and also CLIA, the most important leather association in China that guides the development and advancement of the leather industry in China.’

Michael Duck, director of APLF Ltd, said that he is pleased that APLF Ltd and CLIA are working with one of the most important international leather exhibitions to organise a high level leather presentation for the first time in the Guangdong province.

CLIA’s vice president, Madam Zhang Shu Hua, values the continued improvement in the communication between the international tanners and the Chinese manufacturers, and establish this new relationship with Lineapelle and APLF in order to further improve the quality offered in South China which will flow through returns for manufacturers.
