The new Le Cuir A Paris autumn/winter 2005-2006 collection is to be held between 13-15 September 2004 and will be presented in hall 6 of Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles.
The collection revealed will include a wide range of fashions such as clothes, interior decoration, furnishing, leathergoods, shoes, gloves and other accessories.
For the September 2004 exhibition, the Trends Gallery, created by the French Bureau de Style, propose four fashion themes:
Non Conformist – "So British" with a twist. Striking loutish chic with inspiration from 18th century England and 1960s Carnaby Street.
Divine – An exhilarating, mysterious look, part femme fatale and part snow fairy. Influenced by the 1940s, modernised up to 2010.
Bizarre – An unusual and eccentric look, featuring many contrasting styles.
Electric Gaucho – Marks the return of the casual look. Inspiration taken from the psychedelic wave in 1950s America.
For its autumn/winter season, Le Cuir A Paris has once again singled out one predominant colour theme entitled City Walls – colours of stone.
The September edition will also include a Tailor-Made Area, a new space dedicated to the craftsmen and designers, who will present rare, made-to-measure products.
The Water Agency Adour-Garonne will present an exhibition on the theme of water and leather. The Designers Area will display carved leather armchairs and vases by Marion Courtille (France), leather and canvas puffs by Ana Maia (Brazil), exotic jewellery by Rosa Piatti (Brazil) and the casual-sportswear line of Mars Rijke (the Netherlands).
The exhibition will also feature hand-painted leathers by visual arts professionals. Designs can be created according to client demands and can be applied to all leather products.
As a result of the increased demand for leather products, the visitors will be able to admire the all-leather interior Chrysler Crossfire, exhibited by the car concessionary LBA Cergy.
During the three days of the fair, visitors will be able to view the main suppliers for the fashion, design, furnishing and car equipment industries.
