Turkey’s State Statistics Institute reports that Turkey exported raw hides and skins, and leather, worth US$38.3 million in the first half of this year, a year-on-year fall of 15.6%. Exports of leather products were 6.9% higher year-on-year at US$138 million. Turkey imported raw hides and skins, and leather, worth US$233 million in the January to June period, a year-on-year fall of 24.8%.
